Securing Home Insurance:
In the Lamorinda area, some properties may receive higher-than-usual insurance quotes or fall under the CA Fair Plan. Rest assured, we've checked coverage options before making your offer. Now's the time to finalize your insurance, keeping in mind that approval can take up to two weeks so please contact insurance asap!
Final Walkthrough:
Five days before closing, we'll do a final walkthrough. This is to ensure the property's condition hasn't changed since your offer was accepted.
Schedule Signing with Title:
When your loan documents are ready, we'll arrange for you to sign with the Title company. This can be done via a mobile notary anywhere in the US. Whether at home or in their office, we'll make it convenient for you.

Closing happens when the transaction is recorded with the county, which usually occurs on the same day if the documents are submitted before the cutoff time (1pm PST). However, it's important not to schedule movers or deliveries for this day, as we can't guarantee the exact time the keys will be in your hands.
